Important, Most Pressing Issues

Supporting our Community during the Reorganization Transition

  • Our community is divided, and rebuilding trust is essential

  • I am committed to a smooth, stable transition for everyone affected

  • I am already connecting with teachers and will continue listening to families

  • I support the Common Thread Taskforce and will contribute however I am needed

Hiring a New Superintendent

  • Choosing the next superintendent will be one of the School Committee’s most important responsibilities

  • We need to conduct a robust external search

  • We need someone who understands our community and can rebuild trust

  • They should support and retain strong educators and foster a healthy workplace

  • They must manage a complex budget responsibly and plan for future needs

  • A solid background in curriculum and proven student progress is essential

Budget and Transparency

  • We need to balance between the needs of the district with an understanding of the financial constraints of the towns and taxpayers

  • I do not support further reductions to teaching staff — stability for educators is essential

  • We need to keep advocating for school funding at both the town and state levels

  • I support responsible local development to help grow the tax base and support our town and schools

  • Working with state legislators and partnering with other districts can strengthen our advocacy

  • I will be transparent about the budget and help families find clear answers to their questions
